GENERAL INFORMATION
- Show&Tell Family Projects is a Christian based performing arts company. SHOW&TELL camps focus on giving a creative dramatics and musical theater experience to youth. They are educational performance camps providing training and experience in auditioning, rehearsing and performing musical and dramatic material.
- SHOW&TELL camps are led by Rich & Lydia Crouch. Additional staff may be added if the number of campers warrants.
- The content used for this camp is Bible based. We will explore the connections between the values of the songs and sketches with those taught in the Bible as part of the camp program. We will also be praying together as a group for each other and the needs of the camp. Everyone, regardless of his/her personal faith, will be welcome to be part of the camp and no one will be forced to contribute. The campers may choose to be respectfully quiet during the discussions and prayers.
- The camps will be held in the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall in Stanwood.
- We realize that everyone is in his/her own process and children become ready for this type of theater experience at different times in their lives. The teachers reserve the right to determine if a child is ready to participate in camp. Campers who are asked to not participate after the first day will receive an 80% discount of their tuition fee.
- Campers who are not willing to follow directions or whose behavior is dangerous to others or causes others to not be able to participate in the camp will first be asked to sit watch a portion of the session before rejoining the group. If the behavior doesn’t improve, parents will be contacted and the camper may lose the privilege of participating in the camp.
- A mid morning snack will be served. Please let us know of any special dietary considerations due to allergies. Please send a water bottle with your child every day. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD WITH ANY FOOD CONTAINING NUTS!!! We have several life threatening allergies within our group of campers. This includes granola bars, etc.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- For the best camp experience, campers should be in attendance every day for the entire time and committed to appear in the final performance for family and friends.
- Campers who have conflicts with attendance may still participate in the camp, but the level of participation in the final performance may be limited. Please let us know before the first day of camp begins if your child will be missing a part of any day or the final performance.
- We will be indoors for most of the camp. Campers need to dress modestly and for comfort. Proper footwear is important as we will be doing lots of moving around including choreography. NO clogs, crocks, flip flops, sandals or bare feet.
- Parents are welcome to stay and watch any or all of the camp. We do ask that any conversations be held outside the rehearsal room as it is very distracting to the teachers and campers.
- CHECK IN & CHECK OUT – For the safety of our campers that are 12 and under, we ask that someone sign them in at the beginning and sign them out at the end of day. We know it’s a bit extra effort for all, but it’s worth it to keep everyone safe!
If you have any concerns or questions, please email us at showandtellfp@gmail.com or call Rich or Lydia Crouch at (360) 387-2010.
DETAILS ABOUT “CAMP SHOWCASE!”
- This camp will include many different aspects of performing on stage. Basic stage presentation, auditioning skills, rehearsal skills, group singing skills, basic choreography and general performing tips will be included in the week.
- The scenes and songs used during the week will center on a biblical view of topics that pertain to today’s tweens and teens. There will be a final performance for family and friends on Friday, July 20 at 7:00 p.m.
- The number of songs and scenes we do will depend on how many campers we have and what we feel we can “sanely” accomplish in one week.
- On the first day, campers will receive a rehearsal CD and lyric sheet for the songs we will be learning during the week so that they can work on them at home.
- As part of the first two days of the week, campers will have the opportunity to audition for featured parts in the songs and sketches we will be performing. No one will be required to sing solo or audition for a featured acting part.
- Those who are cast with a speaking part in a sketch will be given a copy of the script to work on their lines at home. All of the parts are fairly short and can be learned in a week.
- Campers who can’t attend the final performance on July 20th may still participate in the group activities, but they will not be cast in a speaking part or solo singing part since they won’t be at the performance.
Hi Rich and Lydia,
I hope this is going to be alright!
Tucker is participating along with Ellie. He does not have experience, but is interested and is looking forward to spending the week with his sis. He has a music background, with some piano, and is in Seattle Children’s Chorus. But no acting or dancing.
Thanks!
Joy
